REGION Slopes of Kithairona’s Mountain in Central Greece, 60km west of Attica, in altitude of 450m.
CLIMATE Attica's region climate is famous over the world: hot and dry summers give way to surprisingly cold winters with very little rain overall. Mild and cool winters and cool summers. Grapes ripen well without difficulties.
SOIL Clay soil chalky substratum covered by a layer of stony clay allowing for drainage and soil heating.
METHOD OF PRODUCTION Red vinification at medium temperature, preparation in tanks, check, bottling.
CHARACTERISTICS Ruby color, low clarity, shiny look, nobble bouquet of aromas, balanced taste with elements of dry fruits and nuts, full bodied slightly oily, with balanced dry aftertaste.
ACCOMPANIES Any type of grilled meats, from pork to lamb, red sausages and poultry with spicy sauces, casserole and stews, pasta and yellow cheese.
SERVED In room temperature (16-18 °C).
